About Job Role

As a Data Scientist Intern at EMO Energy, you will analyze datasets and develop predictive models to enhance our EV Stack. This role allows you to work independently on impactful projects focused on battery performance and efficiency. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong data analysis and machine learning skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends related to battery performance.
• Develop machine learning models for predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and efficiency improvements.

• Contribute to data-driven insights and predictive analytics to support the development of our end-to-end EV stack.

• Develop algorithms for real-time state estimation of battery parameters, such as State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH), to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with battery chemistry and characteristics to inform data analysis and model development, ensuring relevance to real-world battery performance.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments, particularly for battery management systems, to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related fields..
