About Job Role

The Emerging Tech Standard Delivery Team will orchestrate adoption of emerging technologies and build Enterprise Solutions for D&A Operations. The individual will work closely with Specialists, Operations & Technology delivery teams to devise Enterprise solutions that deliver business and customer value. The individual in the role will handle partners and co-ordinate with teams highly proficient in machine learning, database development and front-end application engineering. The individual needs to self-learn in areas including emerging technology, industry methods of working, financial content, and business processes used across D&A teams. Beyond this, they should have a good sense of numbers, data analysis, be articulate and able to connect to the technical and non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Data handling, data processing and programming and support delivery of new or enhanced capabilities by defining requirements and/or leading projects.
• Translate business needs into solution requirements. Write functional and non-functional specifications and propose and implement improvements to products and processes.
• Develop automated solutions for sourcing/loading fundamentals data into database and analyze Legal entity content to establish patterns/trends.
• Build extraction solutions based on different document formats and develop, improve, and run quantitative models.
• Generate solutions through machine learning for core processes & work with business, content, and product groups for large-scale analytics problems.
• Build POCs, visualizations and pipeline tools for product design and development and work with development groups for deployment of analytics solutions.
• Be compatible with other internal teams as needed, with supervision and maintain process documentation including testing and validation of tools and processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Data Science project experience in Finance domain.
• Extensive experience in using Python including AI / ML Technology implementation.
• Experience in crafting, developing, and deploying statistical models based on machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Having understanding of statistical concepts and Proficient in using tools and libraries such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas.
• Proficient with anyone of the deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc and also understanding of HTML, CSS and Web scraping with strong problem-solving competence.
• Grasp of relational database and SQL skills API architecture and containers (Kubernetes or Docker).
• Ability to handle large quantities of data with strong written, communication and presentation skills Able to respond and present work to peers, senior management, and other team members.
• Bachelors/Masters experience in Engineering or Higher education in Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative team with Data science certification.

Education:
Certification in Data Science or equivalent experience along with expertise in programming languages like Python, R, VBA , SQL etc.
